Reconext’s Penang facility has been recognized for excellence in occupational safety and health, earning a score of 98.8% in a recent workplace inspection conducted by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH/JKKP) Penang, an agency under Malaysia’s Ministry of Human Resources.
DOSH inspections assess how closely a facility meets national occupational safety and health requirements. The evaluation covers general workplace conditions, day-to-day safety practices, emergency preparedness, machinery and equipment safeguarding, housekeeping standards, and employee well-being. A result of 98.8% places the Penang site well above the threshold for compliance and reflects the maturity of the safety systems operating there.
Safety is a foundational requirement of quality operations. Our customers and OEM partners entrust us with high-volume repair, refurbishment, and reverse logistics work, and the same discipline that delivers consistent quality outcomes also produces a safe and healthy workplace. Strong safety performance supports stable operations and reliable delivery for the people who depend on us.
This result belongs to the people at the site: the operators and technicians who follow safe work practices, the supervisors and managers who reinforce them, and the members of our ESH Committee who lead continuous improvement throughout the year. Their sustained attention is what turns policy into daily practice.
