Your recovery questions, answered

What’s the advantage of using a Netherlands-based recovery hub?
Zoetermeer is strategically located near Schiphol Airport and the Port of Rotterdam, making it an ideal hub for pan-European returns, redeployments, and demo & loan programs. Customers benefit from faster turnaround and lower logistics costs compared to shipping devices across borders.
How does the Zoetermeer facility manage demo and loan devices?

The site oversees the full cycle — shipping demo units to customers, inspecting and refurbishing them on return, and redeploying them back into circulation. This ensures equipment stays in top condition and ready for rapid reuse, with most orders shipped within 24 hours.
What sustainability initiatives are underway in Zoetermeer?

The facility is ISO 14001 and WEEELABEX certified. Renovations beginning in October 2025 will upgrade insulation, LED lighting, and climate systems to reduce energy use. Packaging is reused where possible, plastic has been replaced with paper for protection, EV charging is available, and on-site solar power is planned for 2026.
What security standards does the site follow for data handling?

Zoetermeer operates under ISO 27001 and uses certified erasure tools that comply with NIST 800-88 and DoD 5220.22-M standards. Devices that cannot be wiped are physically destroyed on site. Access to secure zones is badge-controlled and restricted to trained personnel only.
Can Reconext provide customized reporting for customers?

Yes. The site integrates daily performance dashboards and serialized inventory tracking into customer programs. Customers can receive detailed reports on turnaround times, repair yields, carbon savings, and verified data erasure certificates.
