From Christmas to Year-End Traditions at Reconext

Jan 1, 2026 | About us

Reconext teams celebrated Christmas in December across multiple sites.

In Texas, the Grapevine and Irving offices held holiday lunches and raffles before the break. Managers from both sites also met earlier in the month for a White Elephant gift exchange breakfast. McAllen ran a Christmas party that included a gift raffle and an event video.

In Mexico, Mexicali Plant 1 and Plant 2 recognized employees with Perfect Attendance awards, honoring staff who had zero tardiness and no unjustified absences in 2025, including colleagues who reached 2–6 consecutive years of perfect attendance. Both plants also ran end-of-year raffles.

The HR teams from Mexicali 1, Mexicali 2, and Calexico also held an offsite Christmas outing together. In Reynosa, managers continued their December tradition of handing out chocolates on the production floor as a seasonal thank-you.

In the UK, the Havant site joined a charity raffle organized by Tandem, supporting Action for Children. The main prize, a women’s bicycle, was gifted onsite to Ruxandra Marin, who cycles to work and needed a safer replacement for her previous bike.

In Malaysia, Penang hosted Safety Week (Dec 16–18), including blood donations, CPR training, and security sessions. On December 16, the site ran a Groceries Giveaway for DL staff. On December 17, Penang held the Fourth Quarter Birthday Celebration, recognizing October, November, and December birthdays. Earlier, on December 4, Penang also held a School Supplies Giveaway for employees with school-aged children. The team also hosted a New Year Gift Exchange later in the month.

Christmas at Reconext in 2025 was a month of local celebrations, giveaways, attendance recognition, and charity participation.
