How our teams around the world marked the season in their own ways

Dec 22, 2025 | About us

Across our sites, November is a month filled with small traditions that bring people together. Some traditions are tied to heritage. Others are tied to gratitude. All of them give a glimpse into the culture that shapes the work behind the scenes.

In Mexico, teams in Mexicali and Mexico City gathered around a familiar pairing of hot chocolate and pan de muerto to mark Día de Muertos. It is a quiet moment of remembrance in a month that can otherwise feel busy. People shared stories, decorated small displays, and took a pause before returning to their day.

In the United States, teams in GrapevineIrving, and Memphis held Thanksgiving potlucks and appreciation dinners. These were simple meals arranged by the teams themselves, with homemade dishes spread across breakrooms and shared tables. It was a chance to sit together, talk, and unwind for a moment before the holiday season reached full speed.

In Calexico, the team celebrated both holidays. Día de Muertos connected people to the cultural traditions many grew up with across the border. Thanksgiving carried its own meaning, and every employee brought home a turkey as a gesture of appreciation from the site.

The mix of these traditions reflects the character of our company. Different cultures. Different histories. Different ways of celebrating the same ideas. Connection. Gratitude. Community. These moments do not change the work itself, but they shape the way people show up for one another and the way teams carry themselves through the rest of the year.

When thousands of people contribute to a global operation, it is the small shared experiences that keep a sense of humanity in the middle of it all.
