A global look at the people powering the products our customers trust
Every month, thousands of devices move through Reconext facilities in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. But behind every perfectly graded unit, every refurbished device, and every fast-moving supply chain fix, there are people — teams who show up with energy, creativity, and a shared commitment to doing work that matters.
October was a big month across our global network. Here’s a quick look at the moments that brought our teams together, strengthened our culture, and ultimately strengthened the service our customers rely on.
Mexico: Energy, pride & community
Mexicali had a full month: celebrating scholarship winners, running breast-cancer awareness events, and earning a perfect score from HP’s Business Review team. That kind of culture — proud, competitive, high-performing — shows up in everything they ship.
Mexico City continued its tradition of community learning with team training and awareness sessions, and of course, a sea of pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Reynosa took a more athletic approach: awareness walks, birthday celebrations, and a burst of Halloween creativity that transformed the site for a day.
Across all three sites, the theme was the same: pride in the work, pride in each other, and a culture that’s both warm and relentlessly focused on quality.
United States: Leadership growth & Halloween brilliance
Memphis promoted nine new leaders this month, a milestone that reflects both growth and a commitment to developing talent from within. Promotions weren’t just celebrated; they were felt across the building.
Calexico brought the pink-ribbon spirit to life with their own take on Breast Cancer Awareness Month, while managing a heavy Honeywell season with one-day turnaround time.
Irving & Grapevine went all-in on Halloween. Think elaborate costumes, team competitions, overflowing creativity — proof that high-performing teams can also have a lot of fun.
Europe: Creativity, challenge & celebration
Bydgoszcz, Poland wrapped up its annual Bike to Work challenge, celebrated its challenge winners, and unveiled a lineup of some extremely competitive pumpkin carvings. The sense of community was unmistakable — pedals, pranks, pumpkins, and team spirit everywhere.
Havant, UK focused October on wellness and health, and then closed the month with a collection of delightfully terrifying Halloween tees. It’s always the quiet ones.
Asia: Culture, festivity & shared success
Penang, Malaysia lit up Deepavali with color and celebration, and paired it with community grocery contributions to support local families. The site also hosted VP Ian Lovell for a strategy visit, giving teams added clarity and confidence as they enter Q4.
Hong Kong honored the Mid-Autumn Festival with gifts, traditions, and team time — a reminder that shared culture strengthens shared work.
What this says about us
Customers see our technology. They see automation systems, Optiline and Proteus platforms, AI-supported workflows, and world-class quality metrics.
But what makes all of that possible is this: teams who are invested, connected, and proud of what they build.
Culture isn’t a soft metric. It shows up in:
- Lower error rates
- Higher first-pass yields
- Faster turnarounds
- Stronger customer satisfaction
- Better problem-solving under pressure
- A workplace people want to stay and grow in
October was a reminder that while our engineering and systems make us scalable, our people make us exceptional.
